Talk:Work-at-home scheme

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello everyone. WOW. is there alot of information on this site. I would say about every company that makes money or has been in business for years like amway, tupaware, creative memories, ect.. are on the page of scams. I don't know what to say about those companies other than they are product based companies that offer a commision and a business plan. You may not get rich fast or at all but they do help people earn money from home. I am not a fan of amway, but tupaware and creative memories, I know people invovled and they are making a living not a killing. I believe there is a differance. I to have fallen for comapanies like RRS123 and Emerald Passport. I have spent endless hours before joining myself and earnd some good money. I worked the business and earned the money just the same. The systems do work I found. RRS123 is a gifting club. I still do not know why this is an ilegal activity but it does fall under Penal Code PC327 titled "Endless Chane Scheme". What make it this way is that they offer a pay plane that pays to infinity on the side line and the down line. Well, the person that created the system is no loger the person at the top making all the money, you will become the top person in your group and that is were the pyrimid scheme comes to play. This is known as the "1up payplan". Emerald Passport offers a good product I believe, however the work on the same concept as RRS123 but they offer a "2up payplan" structured the same as RRS123. This would fall under the same Penal Code PC327. I was informed on April 9, 2007 that both companies that I was invovled in are RRS123 and Emerald Passport fall into the the Penal Code pc327. I was told by the Attorney Genrals Office here in the Sacramento, CA area that if I continued I could be faced with a felony charge. If you are offered any of these two oppertunities inform, the person of this Penal Code, I would have to say that the people making the offer do not know. They may not like the information, but give them a chance to clear thier name and to do the right thing. My thoughts after the fact is if you really would like to be in business for yourself, do something that is a service. Look inside yourself and ask yourself, "what is it I like to do and how can I earn an income". Spend your time developing something from your heart. If there is a company out there that is known, join the Franchise. Yes, it may cost you alot to join, but the system is in place and you will not have to re-invent the wheel. If there is not a Franchise out there, then do the work and make it a Franchise. Thanks for your time.

[edit] Durick?

I removed the following sentence from the end of the Consequences section because it looked to me like vandalism:

Urban term for working at home is Durick

I think "Durick" is a surname. What else it might be, I don't know. I've certainly never heard of working at home being called "Durick." It just doesn't ring true. If someone knows that this is legitimate, please restore the material, but include more information and, for goodness sake, a source! —CKA3KA (Skazka) (talk) 07:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
