[edit] Summary

The logo for Wordlock, a brand of combination lock with letters on its dials rather than numbers. It was scanned directly from the product's packaging.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Wordlock

The image Image:Wordlock logo.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyright, I (CountdownCrispy ( ? 14:12, 12 September 2006 (UTC)) feel it is covered by fair use because:

  1. The image is of lower resolution than the original logo on the packaging.
  2. No free or public domain images equivalent can be found, because this is a scan from the product's packaging itself.
  3. The image does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the product in any way.
  4. The image is being used for informational purposes only, to illustrate a product's logo, and its use is not believed to detract from the product in any way.
