The Pacific theatre of World War II refers to the portion of World War II fought across an area from the Dutch East Indies to Alaska, and from Japan to Australia. An overview can be found at Pacific War. For details of the Allied theatres, see Pacific Theater of Operations.

There were two Allied operational theatres in the Pacific: Pacific Ocean theater of World War II and South West Pacific theatre of World War II. To a lesser extent, the South-East Asian theatre of World War II was also part of the Pacific theatre.
