Wonderstrands

Wonderstrands is a stretch of 56[1] miles of beach located on the coast of Labrador, province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The beach takes its name from the Viking saga in which it is referred to as Furdustrandir or Wonderstrands[2]. The term been rather descriptive denoting an area of sand-hills and long and narrow shores, and it was long to sail by.
