[edit] knight-errant
Most of what I've read about the genre states that knights tended to shy away from romantic relationships with woman. And they never set out to rescue some random damsel in distress. This is one thing that sets China's knights apart from their European counterpart. However, there are tales where knights set out to rescue their lord's love interest. Read Kunlun Nu for more info. You should also consult The Chinese Knight-Errant in the page's references section. I hope this helps you out. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 06:37, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
