[edit] Article lacks WP:A to satisfy WP:BIO

Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to establish notability, and the author has not provided any ... without them, this is just original research, which is prohibited by official policy.

Please read WP:Notability (people) and WP:Biographies of living persons for further information.

Also, please read What to do after your speedy delete has been restored to better understand what is probably going to happen if this article is tagged for speedy deletion.

I have just edited the article to add wikilinks, and I researched (and added) ISBNs for the two publish works mentioned, so please do not assume that my Motivational Imperative is "to frag this article" ... OTOH, I remain pessimistic about the continued existence of this article without any Attribution for Verification of Notability by Wikipedia standards ... unfortunately, use of any autobiography as the only source represents a conflict of interest in terms of providing an "independent" source.

For example, as written, there is the implication that the subject is no longer alive, but no date or place of death is provided ... if you cannot find anything published about him to verify the assertions in the article, then the number of books written by the subject is academic ... an "author" may have published twenty books, all with ISBNs, but if none have ever won any literary awards, or even been reviewed in a publication such as the New York Times, then they are still not considered notable.

[edit] Duplicate Entries & Name Spelling

This entry is a duplicate of one under 'Wang Ming-Dao'. 'Wang' is the older Anglicised spelling of this Chinese name - the sound is nearer to Wong as an English-speaker would read it. A search under Google reveals some instances of 'Wang Ming-Tao'.

These two articles need to be amalgamated and the name-spelling should be Wong Ming-Dao, as this is now accepted as the best rendering for an English speaker. Searches for the other possible spellings need to be redirected to this one entry.
