I can get screenshots and the Logo later tonight; the way to upload pictures and get them approved on this site is kind of tedious. Is there anything else that people want to include in terms of media?--Fuen Fuboo (talk) 15:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Not Out Yet?
I'm erasing the proposal for deletion, and I have good reason to do so. I understand that Beta Testing has not yet started. It is going to start on Wednesday. I think that there should be at leat that much wiggle room, if we are going to sticklers on including materials that already exist. That being said, there are plenty of pages on here for console video games that have not yet been released, and I don't see ugly boxes at the top of them requesting deletion. Rather than simply assuming that your way is always the right way, you would do better to discuss these things with the stakeholders.--165.123.202.137 (talk) 10:45, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

- Deletion processes here are a little complicated. You removed the proposed deletion tag, as is your right--I or anyone else can however send it for a discussion, and the consensus at the discussion will decide.
- The fundamental problem is that you need to show the game to be already notable on the basis of third party references before it can get an article, beta or not. Some betas are well known enough to be discussed in reliable sources, and thus become notable. Even after release, you need to have reviews or the like. If the Chinese version has reviews, put them in--even in chinese--give an english translation of the key sentences or two. That would help. DGG (talk) 11:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

- I'm wondering how you're able to decide to delete an article that I've only just created. The trope "Rome wasn't built in a day" comes to mind. I'm already working with some other members on getting objective information about the Chinese versions (pretty good work considering I only got your first message an hour ago) and updated information about the English version will be put in as it becomes available, so I would hope that you would have a little more patience than you are currently showing.--Fuen Fuboo (talk) 12:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ummm...in fairness to User:DGG - I'm the one who has sent this to AfD. I found it during recent changes, noticed the contested PROD tag, read the article, and I don't think that it currently meets the notability criterion. What I didn't do was check the talk page (an error on my part). Of course, if there is a version to cite then do so and I will withdraw the nomination if appropriate - but this is currently just about the English version of the game. Don't point the finger at DGG - this is all me! :) Fritzpoll (talk) 12:33, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
