I was born in Bremerhaven, Germany, on July 2, 1957. In 1977 I moved to Berlin to study mechanical engineering at Technische Universität Berlin. I received my Master's degree in 1985. In 2005 I moved to Mansbach, a village of 1200 inhabitants in a rural part of Germany. I am working at home as a software engineer.
