Wollongong Advertiser

The Wollongong Advertiser is a free newspaper for the residents of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, and its immediate suburbs.
The newspaper contains a television guide, classifieds and a sports section as well as band gig listings, special focus sections and general local news.
Its editor is Lorraine Bennett. Its reporters are Nathan Simpson, for the northern suburbs, Agron Latifi for the southern suburbs and Shellharbour, Amanda Garard for Kiama news and sub-editor, Gay Mackie for special supplements and news and Katelin McInerney covering Kiama.
The layout is simple and currently, as of July 2007, features a red background rectangle with the white font logo and date on the front page. In conjunction with the Mercury it forms the base of modern newspaper distribution.
