Wolf Robe (between 1838 and 18411910, Oklahoma[1]) was a Southern Cheyenne chief and a holder of Benjamin Harrison Peace Medal. During the late 1870s he was forced to leave the open plains and relocate his tribe on a reservation in Oklahoma. A Chief Wolf Robe-Hunt was an Acoma Indian, living 1905-1977 in Catoosa, OK. A book was published in 1963 by Helen Rushmore and illustrated by Chief Wolf Robe-Hunt. The book was The Dancing Horses of Acoma, and Other Acoma Indian Stories.
