Wolf Island, also known as Wenman, was named after the German geologist Theodor Wolf. It has an area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²) and a maximum altitude of 253 m (830 ft).
Here fur seals, frigates, masked and red footed boobies, marine iguanas, sharks, whales, dolphins and swallow-tailed gulls can be seen. The most famous resident is the vampire finch, which feeds on the blood of the boobies and is only found on this island.
