Wolf-Udo Ettel (26 February 1921 – 17 July 1943) was a German World War II Luftwaffe 124 victories Flying ace and a posthumous recipient of the coveted Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves.
Wolf-Udo Ettel, on a ground support mission, attacked an enemy Anti Aircraft artillery position when he was shot down and killed in action on 17 July 1943.
