[edit] Filmography
This list is a bit too long in my opinion. I think it would be preferable to cut it down to a more representative selection of his works. --Steerpike 12:27, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
- I agree. Do you know which ones are unworthy? I am cutting out a few I know are't too well known. Karol 12:32, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
-
- He is probably best known for his "english" movie scores such as Dracula, The Ninth Gate or Portrait of a Lady, so those shouldn't be left out, but he also wrote a large number of music for Polish films and TV serials. I'm not exactly an expert on those so I can't really say which ones to include.
-
- Furthermore, it would be interesting to include some of his better known symphonic works as well, besides a "selected filmography". I think there's quite a few websites dedicated to his work. Should be no problem to find a good overview. --Steerpike 14:31, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
- Whatever state the list is currently, I think is good. I came to this article trying to find a fairly comprehensive list of his contributions and was happy with what I saw. I feel that the article needs is more biographical data on the man. MCalamari 22:17, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pronunciation of his name
Could someone include the IPA keys for his name? I'm not sure, but I guess it sounds like "Joseph" (Yoi-sech)? ☢ Ҡi∊ff⌇↯ 04:22, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- I asked a Pole once. It's basically pronounced as it's written: "woitshiech kilar" or something. I could be wrong, of course. --Steerpike 00:36, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- The i in the last name is pronounced like the english double e. The best I can do in english is: Voiycheh Keelar. Karol 07:57, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- Right. Forgot that one because in Dutch (I'm Belgian) "i" is pronounced "ee" anyway. --Steerpike 18:23, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- In IPA, this would be something like /vojčεx kilar/. --Vegalabs 20:07, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's Voy-chek. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 89.210.238.142 (talk) 14:49, 17 January 2007 (UTC).
[edit] how

- Can you even read? Look above you. --Steerpike 01:33, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
hey fuck you, you couldve said it a little nicer, and not be an asshole, everybody makes stupid mistakes, jerk
- No personal attacks. You're the one who starts namecalling. Maybe I wasn't polite but I wasn't hostile either. --Steerpike 21:39, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

- "Can you even read?" sounds like a personal attack to me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.105.167.39 (talk) 16:54, 12 December 2006 (UTC).
