From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Atheism!
I am pleased to announce the creation of the first ever atheist wikiproject. The project is still in its infancy, and will need some love before it begins to take shape. Please help in any way you can. Thanks! Hezzy 03:49, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wham2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Wham2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:58, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Seamonkey.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Seamonkey.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:04, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] IntelliStar
Do you happen to have a screenshot or know of where I can get a screen shot for the new lower display line on the IntelliStar that's being beta tested in Atlanta and Pittsburgh? Just curious... Figured I'd ask you, because you're the one who made the edit, heh... —TRAiNER4 (talk • contrib) 18:16, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
