WNZK is a radio station in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, USA. It began broadcasting October 12th, 1985. It broadcasts in the AM radio band at 690 kHz during the daytime and at 680 kHz at night. WNZK is the only North American AM station to broadcast on two frequencies. WNZK carries ethnic programming, mainly targeted toward listeners of Arab and Eastern European descent, with some talk shows in English, including the long-running "Ask Your Neighbor" with Bob Allison (formerly aired on WWJ). WNZK is owned by Birach Broadcasting Corporation and has a transmitter power of 2500 watts. It is known as "The Station of the Nations." 97.9 FM in Detroit aired a similar ethnic format for many years with similar calls (WMZK) and the same "Station of the Nations" slogan until 1980; it is now WJLB.
