WNNG-AM 1350 signed on in 1956 as WRPB. Other call letters included WAVC and WCOP. The station rightfully claims to be the hometown station, covering local news, high school sports and involved in all areas of Warner Robins and Houston County, GA. Georgia Eagle Broadcasting bought the station officially in January 2007, adding the only Weekday Noon Newshour in the area, if not Georgia. Sister stations include WRPG-FM, WQXZ-FM, WDXQ-FM, WDCO-AM, WCEH-AM and soon WQSA-FM, which is currently in a TBA with Toccoa Falls College.
