WNKO (101.7 FM) is an American radio station located in Newark, Ohio. WNKO plays classic hits and calls itself Kool 101.7. The station is currently owned by the Runnymede Corporation.
Prior to adopting an oldies format, the station played adult contemporary.
WNKO stands for W Newark's Knock-Out and began operating in 1972. WNKO is the sister station to WHTH.
