WNGH-FM (98.9 FM) is a NPR-member radio station, licensed to Chatsworth, Georgia, USA. The station is currently owned by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB).

[edit] Sale to GPB

On December 21, 2007, North Georgia Radio Group entered into an agreement to sell the station, then known as WQMT, to GPB.[2] The sale was approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on April 9, 2008.[3] Pending the sale, GPB has reserved the call sign WNGH-FM for the station, to be assigned upon consummation.[4] The station switched from its previous classic country format (as Georgia 99) to GPB on January 2, 2008.

In April 2008, the FCC approved the sale of the station to GPB, and the calls of the station officially became WNGH-FM.
