Chris Larkin (born October 25, 1990 in Torino) is a professional footballer.
Larkin started his career at then English Premiership side Leeds United but was released by the elland road outfit in 1998, Larkin then went on to sign for Manchester City where he stayed 4 years before moving to the club he supported as a boy, Stockport County
In the 2005-06 season Larkin made his debut as a 16 year old, still in school, though he had to wait for his tenth appearance in a County shirt before he scored against Grimsby Town in a 3-1 County win at Blundell Park.
The end of the season saw him go out on loan to local side Woodley Sports, despite only playing 14 games for the East Stockport outfit, Larkin soon became a fans favourite, scoring 7 goals from defence.
In November 2007 Larkin signed for the biggest club in the world Manchester United on an apprentices contract, but left only weeks after due to several altercations with staff and players at the club.
Larkin soon returned to his old employers, Stockport County in this time he made 16 more appearances for County scoring 3 times, one of which was a penalty, though on 6/3/08 he recieved news that his contract at Stockport County would not be renewed, so Larkin moved onto Bury whom he is expected to debut for in preseason 2008. Until contract offers from other clubs came in Larkin then later signed for Manchester City FC. Though Stockport County have since taken a U-turn and he will remain with Stockport County.
The one and only international cup Larkin played in was the European Amateur Cup during his time at Woodley Sports, despite being born in England he played for the England Amateur team, he has also made 5 appearances for the Italian U-21 side, scoring once.
Larkin is currently at Cheadle and Marple sixth form college in Stockport.

Chris Larkin currently lives in Stockport with his family, and is in a relationship with his girlfriend who he met whilst at college Catherine (due to legal reasons wikiPedia isn't obliged to state her surname)
