WMHW-FM, "Modern Rock 91.5," is the university radio station for Central Michigan University, located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The call letters stand for "Moore Hall Wireless", as it is a formerly wired-station whose studio is located in Moore Hall. The station's slogan is "Where Music Begins."

The station has changed formats since its debut in 1971, but still offers students music, news, and sports coverage.

It also carries a variety of radio shows and podcasts, such as:
"Morning Militia" (Modern Rock 91.5's Morning Show with Chas Lietart, Steve Wagner, Dominick Fracassa, and Calvin Williams III)
"Morning Militia Special Forces" (WMHW's Friday Morning Show with Joe Buchanan-Riley, Sarah Miller, Scott Ehlke, and Mark Kazmierski)
"The Furance" (Mt. Pleasant's only heavy metal music show, also the longest running show on WMHW-FM (23 Years))
"Diamonds in the Rough" (Show featuring music from unsigned artists and bands)
"SportsZone" (Mt. Pleasant's only local sports call-in radio debate program)
"Geek Speak" (Talk Show about Geek and Nerdy stuff (Video Games, Comic Books, Pro Wrestling, etc.)
"Urban Exchange" (Mt. Pleasant's only hip-hop show)
"Reel Talk" (Mt. Pleasant's only movie and DVD review show)
"Central Beat" (WMHW's News Magazine)
"The Cutting Room Floor" (The show that decides what music goes on the station)
and "Girls Night Out" (The show that features all female artists)

WMHW is the flagship station for CMU Women's Basketball, and Shepherd High School Football. WMHW Sports also covers select CMU Softball and CMU Baseball games as well as rebroadcasting of home CMU Football games.

In 2006, the Federal Communications Commission granted WMHW a power increase, slated to increase the station's signal from 340 watts to 13,000 watts. In addition, a new 450-foot transmitter tower was constructed, replacing the old 118-foot tower. The upgrade took place on September 28th, 2007 at 11 am when CMU President Michael Rao gave the order to flip the switch to go to 13,000 watts.

WMHW now reaches Frankenmuth to the east, Big Rapids to the west, Cadillac to the north, St. Johns to the south and all points in between.

As of 2008, the radio station has gone HD, with 2 HD stations.
