WLOB (96.3 FM/1310 AM) is a news/talk station in Portland, Maine. The AM station is licensed to Portland, while WLOB-FM is licensed to Gray, Maine. The current owner is Atlantic Coast Radio. The station's programming includes Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage, Boston Red Sox and Sean Hannity. In June 2007 it was announced WLOB AM 1310 will carry University of Maine Black Bear football and ice hockey. [1] In addition, The FOX Morning News, their morning show, is simulcast on Portland's Fox affiliate, FOX23 WPFO.
The station uses the news services of Fox News Radio and USA Radio Network.
During the 1960s and early 1970s, WLOB-AM (1310) was a popular top 40 music station, competing with WJAB (1440) in nearby Westbrook.
