[edit] History
WLFT started out as Cox cable channel 4, airing programming from the Pax network in 1998. They also aired local religious programming on cable channel 17, as "WLFT/2".
In 2002, WLFT converted to all-religious programming and Pax was moved to cable channel 14, as a direct network feed.
In the fall of 2005, WLFT-CA launched its over-the-air signal on channel 30 and a new programming schedule.
In November 2002, WLFT launched its new 500-foot (150 m) tower, allowed the station to increase its signal and reach countless more homes in communities like Hammond, Gonzales, New Roads and St. Francisville.
