[edit] History

This is Spinal Tap was started on February 10, 2007 as a reincarnation of the guild The Aristocrats, a casual guild on the Zul'jin server. The Aristocrats was founded on January 1st of the same year, but most of the high-profile members opted for a transfer to leave the highly populated server for greener pastures, and the guild was subsequently disbanded. Four of the original members still remain: Sarane, Segovia (Wiggletooth), Jwagner, and Bigblackj. Both guilds started with the idea of small group of players helping each other navigating the ins and outs of WoW. Since then, the idea has remained the same, but the small group has evolved to a much larger collection of players.

[edit] Ranks

[edit] Non-Officer Ranks

[edit] Initiate

Newly invited players are automatically given the rank of Initiate. Showing interest in the guild and participation in guildchat and any events or groups is a sure fire way to get promoted to Member status. Permissions are Guildchat Speak/Listen.

Those Members who have reached level 50 are eligible to be nominated to Veteran status. In order to be considered for Veteran you must be nominated by anyone in the guild of rank Member or higher. Good candidates are those that are very active with the guild and helps out others frequently. Aside from Guildchat Listen/Speak, Veterans can also invite members.

The War Veteran rank will be used in the future to identify those that are active raiders. War Veterans will be favored over other lower ranks when raids are formed.
