I haven't found any sources for this put WKRQ's call letters were used in a skit by MADtv. The skits highlights a number of problems caused in the newscast, such as mics going bad, lights falling on anchors, the weatherman wearing a green suit against a green screen. The episode aired today (Friday, November 10, 2006) on Comedy Central at 16:00 (EST) in the Greater Cincinnati market. When I read the call letters I recognized it as a local radio station, which would of course not be a TV station as protrayed in the skit. Also, they claimed to be from North Dakota, which is quite a distance from Cincinnati's WKRQ. -- Sapphire 22:02, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

It was episode #1014 if anyone wants to write up a section about that. -- Sapphire 22:02, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
