WKLA and WKLA-FM are a pair of co-owned radio stations broadcasting from Ludington, Michigan.

The AM station went on the air on October 8, 1944, originally housed on the second floor of the Masonic Temple in downtown Ludington. Karl A. Ashbacher was the original owner, with his initials being the original basis for the call letters. Ray Plank purchased the station in 1949. In 1951, the station was moved to its current site at 5941 W. US 10 in Ludington. In 1971, WKLA expanded its programming with WKLA-FM.

Other past owners of WKLA include Tom Plank and Chickering & Associates. In 1996, the station was purchased by Roger Baerwolf under the corporate name of Lake Michigan Broadcasting, Inc. Today, the company owns and operates WKLA AM/FM, WMTE AM/FM (Manistee) and WKZC-FM (Scottville).

WKLA-FM plays Adult Contemporary music; its 4,900-watt signal at 106.3 MHz can be heard from Kaleva, Michigan in the north to Hart, Michigan in the south. WKLA operates at 1450 kHZ with 1,000 watts of power and airs news/talk programming.
