WKGO is an FM radio station at 106.1 mHz, serving the greater Cumberland, Maryland area. As "GO 106", it played the latest top 40 hits throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. Starting in the mid-'90s the format began to evolve, first to a roughly 50-50 mix of hot adult contemporary and classic hits, then gradually moving more "classic rock" by the year 2000. "Classic Rock to New Rock" is GO 106's positioning statement.
