WKEL-FM, a new broadcast radio station will be licensed to Confluence, Pennsylvania and will serve the Confluence/Uniontown/Somerset area.
The station's Community of License has been previously listed by the FCC as Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, where the station would serve the Meyersdale, Pennsylvania/Cumberland, Maryland area.[1] A change of plans by WKEL-FM owner Educational Media Foundation moved the station to Confluence, Pennsylvania.[2]
WKEL-FM was scheduled to launch in Mid-2007, though has yet to sign on. WKEL is owned and operated by Educational Media Foundation.
