WKAN

WKAN, also known as "Talk, AM1320", is a radio station located in Kankakee, Illinois.

Its frequency is at 1320 on the AM band. The station's format is talk.

WKAN broadcasts several network shows such as Glenn Beck, Fox Sports Net, Dave Ramsey, and Jim Bohannon.

Locally produced shows include the Mike Tomano show in the morning and the Steve Touhy show in the afternoon. Touhy's show apparently was canceled by the station in April of 2007, with more syndicated network programming taking its place.

The station also is the local network affiliate for NASCAR, and University of Illinois Basketball. Local sports covered are local high school football and basketball, and Kankakee Community College basketball, all announced by Lee Schrock and Denny Lehnus.

WKAN is owned by StarRadio corporation located in Quincy, Illinois.
