[edit] Fair use rational inWJZ-TV

  1. the source is a screen shot taken from a video tape of the probable copyright holder's news program, taken in the late 1980's
  2. Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws, and the stricter requirements of Wikipedia's non-free content policies, because it is used in a section about form personalties and the gentleman in the middle is a former WJZ news anchor; therefore this image enhances the article in which it's displayed, as it provides an immediate relevance to the reader more capably than the textual description alone.
  3. The resolution of the image is very low (Doubling the size of the picture causes it to become blurred) and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods.
  4. The anchor in question, Al Sanders, died ten years ago and therefore this image is not replaceable with an uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value.Marylandstater 00:06, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
