WJXS-CA is a Class-A low-power television station with a tower location in Oxford, Alabama, with station facilities in Jacksonville, broadcasting locally as a FamilyNet affiliate on channel 24. In addition to network programming, the station airs four newscasts a day, including The Dave Mack Show and evening newscasts at 5 PM, 6 PM and 10 PM. Many programs on the station are specifically chosen to foster family entertainment. The station is owned by Alabama Heritage Communications, LLC. WJXS-CA also carries sports programs including Jacksonville State University and local high school sports.
WJXS-CA has recently emphisized its online presence, (www.tv24.tv), by a redesign of its website. The website features recent and archived stories, staff bios, and a listing of programming.
