WJTN

WJTN (1240 AM) is a radio station licensed to Jamestown, New York. The mostly local news/talk outlet is owned by Media One Group. The station signed on on New Year's Eve, 1924-25, making the station the oldest in southwestern New York and fourth-longest lived in all of Western New York-- behind only WGR, WBEN and WNED-AM.

WJTN airs a significant amount of local programming, including Dennis Webster's morning show, a long-running adult standards program by Jim Roselle, and The Hall Closet, a long-running liberal talk radio program hosted by Ray Hall. The station also has an extensive local news bureau, airing full news reports at the noon and 5:00 PM hours, as well as in-depth coverage of local sports.
Syndicated programming heard on WJTN includes Michael Medved, Jim Bohannon, and Coast to Coast AM. On weekends, the station is affiliated with ESPN Radio, one of three Western New York affiliates of the network (including WGR in Buffalo and WGGO in Salamanca).
In addition to extensive high school sports coverage, WJTN carries the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees.
WJTN is also an affiliate of ABC News and carries Paul Harvey's News and Comment features as well as the Rest of the Story.
