WJET-TV is the Erie, Pa., affiliate of the ABC television network. Its studio and transmitter facilities are located at 8455 Peach Street in Summit Township, Pennsylvania. The station's syndicated programming includes Frasier, Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond.

WJET-TV signed on the air during the 6 p.m. hour on April 2, 1966. In January 1998, Nexstar Broadcasting Group acquired WJET. Later in the year, as standard for most Nexstar stations, WJET began performing non-programming functions for Mission Broadcasting station WFXP. On April 3, 2006, WJET celebrated its 40th anniversary.

WJET-TV is carried on cable in London, St Thomas as well as other communities on Lake Erie. In recent years WJET has been bumped to high dial positions on cable systems in London and St Thomas. WJET-TV was once available on cable systems in the Hamilton, Niagara and Grand River Regions. WJET-TV was dropped from these cable systems in the early 1990s
