[edit] Cisco stuff

Hey, I saw your comment here [2] and wanted to know more. I need a device to share the ADSL connection to a wireless network of about 9 computers. Currently I use a Linksys WRT54G with Tomato firmware [3], but of course it reboots randomly. The modem is a UTStarcom (:P) with linux on it. It's very stable and hasn't rebooted itself ever, but I don't know if it drops packets. I don't know if I should use the modem with the new Cisco router I will buy, of if I should buy a Cisco router with a DSL interface.

But that isn't the main point. I wanted to know how much discount I should get for a router like the 871W (price from CDW for CISCO871W-G-A-K9 is $589.99). Could you help me in that? —vedant (talkcontribs) 13:21, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
