Wits and Wagers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wits and Wagers is a board game created by Dominic Crapuchettes, Satish Pillalamarri, and Nate Heasley and published by North Star Games. The game was first introduced in 2005 and continues to be available today.
The game is played in seven rounds. One trivia question is presented each round, and each player answers every trivia question. Players simultaneously place their written answer to the trivia question on the betting mat, and then bet on the answer they believe is closest to the right answer. The House pays players who choose the correct answer based on the odds marked on the board.
Wits and Wagers has won multiple awards including the Mensa Select award, the Board Game Geek Party Game of the Year finalist, and GAMES Magazine Party Game of the Year 2006.
