Talk:Witches' mark

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I just made some basic changes to this page becuase some of the information provided need clarification. I specifically wanted to address the "witches' teat" as it relates to familiars and the connection between the two becauase it is not mentioned in any of the article. I also thought it necessary to mention Matthew Hopkins, as his ideas influenced the search for and beliefs surrounding witches' marks. I would like to add more as my research continues, specifically to these two areas and also to the methods used to discover witches' marks (i.e. pricking). I removed one use of the term "inquistitors" becuase i think it implies the Spanish Inquistition; and there is no evidence to suggest that the Spanish Inquisition had any interest in the witches' mark to prove a witches' guilt. I want to open up a disscussion about this page if any one is interested! Homefrybebe (talk) 04:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
