Wissol Petroleum is a large Georgian oil company that has over 60 petroleum stations in the country of which 28 are in Tbilisi.
The company handled about 50.000 tonnes of petroleum products all imported from Greece, Romania and Azerbaijan.
Established in 2000, the company completed its process of re-branding one year ago and entered the market with the name Wissol. Today J.S.C. Wissol Petroleum Georgia is a leader in the retail oil product market in Georgia. In addition to individual customers, more than 3,500 corporate clients use Wissol's services. According to results from 2006, Wissol is the largest taxpayer in the local oil industry. It has contributed more than GEL 43 million to the state budget.
J.S.C. Wissol owns the largest network of service stations. Currently the company has over 100 licenses and operates 52 service stations of superior design providing services and high quality products in every district of Tbilisi and elsewhere in the country. Further development is underway.
Innovation and creative thinking is the asset of Wissol. The company pioneered the Wissol Business Card for the company’s corporate clients to the Georgian market in 2001 and remains the only company in the sector providing such a safe, convenient system based on smart technology and in-house developed user-friendly software. Compressed natural gas (CNG), the fuel of the future is available at Wissol since September, 2007. JSC Wissol petroleum Georgia is the only oil company that pioneered the integrated service stations on the Georgian market. Furthermore Wissol has captured the air fuel market as well.
For meeting all of our customer’s needs, the company secure a stable supply of Western EUROPEAN quality products (Super MaxPower, Premium Power, EURO Regular, EURO Diesel PPM50) as well as an economy package (Regular Standard, Diesel Standard L-62) in the chain. From September 2007, for the first time in Georgia, Wissol offers Italian fuel from API at its service stations.
