Wisin & Yandel (also known as El Dúo de la Historia or El Dúo Dinámico! or Los Extraterrestres) are a Latin Grammy-nominated reggaeton duo. They started their career together in 1995 and have been together since winning several awards during that time. Yandel was born Llandel Veguilla Malavé Salazar on January 14, 1979 & Wisin was born Juan Luis Morera Luna on December 19, 1978[citation needed].

Their hits include "Mayor Que Yo", "Noche de Sexo" (featuring Anthony "Romeo" Santos of bachata group Aventura), "Rakata", "Llamé Pa' Verte (Bailando Sexy)", "Pam Pam", "Pegao", "Yo Te Quiero", "Sexy Movimiento", "Oye, ¿Dónde Está El Amor?", "Ahora Es", "Síguelo", & "¿Por Qué Me Tratas Así?". Wisin & Yandel have collaborated with internationally known artists such as R. Kelly on "Burn It Up", Paris Hilton on the reggaeton remix to her debut single "Stars Are Blind", Lenny Kravitz on "Breathe" (a promotional song for Absolut Vodka), Mexican Pop group RBD on "Lento (Remix)", and compatriots La Secta AllStar on "Llora Mi Corazón", and in their new Album "Presion" as well as "Sexy Movimiento" and "Por Que Me Tratas Asi". This last album with 18 tracks plus two bonus tracks shows the experience Wisin & Yandel have gain over the years. Being one of the best Duos in the Regueton (AKA Reggaeton) genre.

Wisin & Yandel are considered one of the most successful artists in the reggaeton genre, due to their awards, nominations and sales of albums. They are ranked among Reggaeton artists Calle 13, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Ivy Queen, Tego Calderón, RKM & Ken-Y, Casa de Leones, Hector "El Father", Yomo, and Alexis y Fido.

Wisin is going to marry Yomaira Ortiz and has one daughter, Yelena.[1] Yandel is married to Edneris Espada and has two sons, Adrián Yandel and Derek.

On June 2, 2008, Wisin and Yandel began a tour to promote Wisin vs Yandel, Los extraterrestres, otra dimensión, visiting several radio stations in Puerto Rico.[2] The duo made a guest appearance in an album titled "Caribbean Connection" released on June 24, 2008. The production included participation by other Latin American artists includin Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and Hector El Father along Jamaican musicians including Inner Circle, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man and Wayne Wonder.[3]
