Wish FM is the Independent Local Radio station for Wigan and St Helens, broadcasting on 102.4FM. The station takes its name from the initials WIgan and St Helens.

It broadcasts on 102.4 FM from the transmitter at Billinge Hill, between Billinge and Longshaw on the A571, having taken to air on 1 April 1997. The studios are currently in Orrell, Metropolitan Borough of Wigan but in early 2007, the station's owners approached UK media regulator OFCOM to ask permission to move the station's base to Newton Le Willows, Merseyside as part of a plan in a single building with two other stations from the UTV Radio group: Tower FM and Wire FM .

It does much collaboration with the rugby league team, Wigan Warriors and the Premiership football club Wigan Athletic.

Wish FM joins with fellow UTV stations Imagine FM, The Pulse of West Yorkshire, Tower FM, Radio Wave 96.5 and Signal 2 in a shared evening programme from 7pm on weekday evenings.
