The Wisconsin Cheeseman, established in 1946, is a privately held mail-order food gift company operating in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The company publishes several catalogs and emails each year to promote its line of over 300 products, consisting of: Wisconsin cheese, sausage, chocolates, fruitcakes, petits fours, cakes, cookies, fresh fruits, nuts and other assorted food gifts.
The company was owned an operated for 60 years by the founding family, the Cremers, before being purchased by a group of private investors, Wisconsin Food Gift Co., on April 17, 2007.[1]
The Wisconsin Cheeseman employs 170 workers. The company recorded $36.4 million in 2006.[2]
