[edit] Dorje Shugden

Hello, Wisdom, can you do me a favor and put the entire url of your sources in the ref tag? Full website names do not make it easy for others to figure out what you are doing. See {{cite web}} if you want to put in the full information. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 02:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, I am extremely curious how you managed to find this particular article and immediate start getting uncivil comments like these. Do not insult other users again or you could be blocked. If you disagree with someone, comment on the article talk page about it. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 02:57, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Dorje Shugden do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_ectLWfnSQ http://youtube.com/watch?v=n5sOm-uQH9Y http://youtube.com/watch?v=Aboblx-0zAs http://youtube.com/watch?v=b1dILwsmwCQ) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 14:33, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dorje Shugden

Okay. Point taken about section below and agreed to take the unencyclopedic element out. But I believe it is also fair to point out that the article as it stood before was for years extremely biased and very anti-Dorje Shugden practitioners. A Wiki article does not seem to be the place to air these intolerant views and inflammatory rhetoric, which have been extremely subjective and one-sided, (even if they don't mention the word "we"), and upsetting to thousands of Dorje Shugden/Gelugpa practitioners in India, Tibet and the West. Some of the editors of the piece are still learning how to use Wikipedia. I know several would like to see the piece completely rewritten to a NPOV -- it is hard to patch up an article that is completely one-sided. (Wisdomsword (talk) 00:43, 6 May 2008 (UTC)) Any suggestions welcome.

I'm at a loss as to what to do about Dorje Shugden. You and your friends have succeeded in driving off one editor. The article is basically a religious advocacy piece and needs badly to be fixed and turned into something neutral. But all that aside, if you add anything unencyclopedic like http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dorje_Shugden&diff=prev&oldid=210444048 again, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not the place to promote your denomination (I apologize if that is not the right name for it, I don't know anything about Buddhism) or to advocate a belief system. The word "we" almost never has a place in a Wikipedia article. --B (talk) 23:31, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spamming talk pages

Spamming "kt66 aka Tenzin Paljor" - on several articles == NOT good WP behaviour. (20040302 (talk) 13:20, 12 June 2008 (UTC))
