My interests
If I am here one should presume that I love reading and writing. With all of the time consuming work that is required for graduate school, I don't read much anymore, but when I do it usually has something to do with crazy wizards and dragons. Reality based novels are usually medical thrillers or something related to science. Music is very important to me (see below), and as expected many of my wikipedia edits focus on this. Check my contributions, you'll see what I mean. Also in my spare time I play the guitar, not terribly proficient mind you, but passable. That's about it for now. If I amass anymore hobbies, I'll let you know.

Vandals, spammers and Sockpuppets are about to have a very bad day.
Before any of you jump to conclusions, no my alias is NOT a reflection of arrogance. It's a long story, but suffice it to say I've gone by this handle on several different internet mediums since around 1997. Not to mention that, seeing as though this is an encyclopedia, I feel the alias is perfectly apt.
As for my early Wikipedia contributions, BorgHunter was nice enough to recognize that I was heavily instrumental in helping the Rush article become featured. It was a fun project. Neil Peart was also attractive. Lately, I've been branching out heavily beyond music related articles. As a biologist, I've been carefully watching and editing various molecular biology, medicine, pharmacology and biochemistry related articles, helping to clear away misinformation and perform general maintenance tasks. Beyond run-of-the-mill editing, I consider myself a heavy vandalism fighter. Also, I tend to offer my services to the project through several other channels such as providing new users with advice and help per WP:ADOPT, help and reference desks. I'm fairly active at WP:RFA and WP:ANI and always try and provide useful and insightful comments.
