Talk:Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd tribute band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
they are the only Pink Floyd tribute band utilizing a giant inflatable pig similar to the one used for the Animals (album) cover shoot at Battersea Power Station.
This is open to dispute. There are other floyd bands who use inflatable pigs if you care to scour the internet
[edit] Why not recreate the FULL Animals experience?
They should arrange to plant a paid actor in the front row of their concerts, where he will get loud 'n' rowdy. Security will be instructed to allow this. There should be a fence, or security netting, for the actor to climb. Finally, during "Pigs (Three Different Ones)", near the end of the show . . . "Roger Waters" can spit on him!
There are bootlegs out there of the concert in which this occurred (I think one is called, wittily enough, Who Was Trained Not to Spit on the Fan), so the "Roger Waters" musician can learn the relevant dialogue. He totally taunted the kid. I mean, I love Waters, but he was really being a dick that night.
Anyway, this is a great article. I didn't even realize how many PF tribute bands there were, much less how elaborate they get. --63.25.112.190 (talk) 05:46, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
