Is this railroad actually defunct? The Minnesota Department of Transportation seems to think it still exists, as does the Surface Transportation Board (see Four Major Rail Systems Operating in Minnesota SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD DECISION DOCUMENT. Mackensen (talk) 20:51, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

It has been acquired by Canadian National Railway, so while it might still exist legally, in practise it is a fallen flag and "paper" railroad. Iain Bell (talk) 18:09, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
That may well be, but it's still operating trains and transacting business (see here). Several other railroads listed by MINDOT (and us) are owned by the CP but still listed as active. Mackensen (talk) 15:51, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
