Winterborne Monkton

Not to be confused with the similarly named village of Winterbourne Monkton in Wiltshire.
Winterborne Monkton is a hamlet and civil parish in the south-west of the English county of Dorset.
It is situated on the A354 road, three miles south of Dorchester. The village has a population of 84 (2001). The great hill fort of Maiden Castle stands within the parish.
