[edit] Controversy surrounding the album
The recording of "The Winter EP" was drawn out due to a fire at Gunnison Studios in Phoenix, Arizona and a flood at Midway arts studios in Chicago, Illinois. Several witnesses claimed their was foul play involved in the flood at Midway arts due to a broken water main that appeared to have been damaged with blunt force, though nothing was ever confirmed. Supposedly the name for the EP was coined after being forced outside because of the flood, Tim Pool was standing outside staring at a crow in a tree during a snow storm.
