WinterKids's music can be described as Indie Folk, yet also takes a partially art-pop/art-rock style with use of organs and keyboards.

[edit] Recognition and reviews

WinterKids has been recognized by several media outlets, including being named as "One of the 10 most promising British acts of 2007" by the New York Daily News. [1] They're limited release album, Memoirs was reviewed positively by Pitchfork Media [2] as well as Spin Magazine [3]. After performing at the Austin, Texas South by Southwest festival and digitally releasing the eponymous collection, WinterKids (same music as Memoirs), they received modest U.S. radio airplay. As a result of the festival performance and a brief Texas area tour, they reached the top 50 in the American College radio charts. [4]
