Winta Efrem Negassi (born 20 March 1984) is a Norwegian R&B and soul musician from Haugerud, Oslo.

She grew up in Oslo, Norway. Both of her parents fled Eritrea after heightened civil strife erupted there and forced them to become refugees. Winta has been interested in music since she was a child.
