The Winona Daily News is a daily newspaper serving Winona, Minnesota and the surrounding area. Founded in 1856, it is the second oldest continually running newspaper in the state, with a weekday circulation of 11,354 and a Sunday circulation of 12,340.
The Daily News was known as the Republican Herald until 1954, and combined with the La Crosse Tribune in 1999; the presses and copy desk are located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Owned by Lee Enterprises, the newspaper is the primary media outlet for the area.
