Winnsboro Independent School District

Winnsboro Independent School District is a public school district based in Winnsboro, Texas, United States.

Located in northeastern Wood County, the district extends into southeast Hopkins and southern Franklin counties.

Winnsboro ISD has three campuses - Winnsboro High (Grades 9-12), Memorial Middle (Grades 5-8), and Winnsboro Elementary (Grades PK-4)

Winnsboro ISD has been a recognized school in the state for its Athletic Girls Basketball Program, and other achievements which include superior TAKS scores in all the subjects, undefeated 2A football team in district, many first place students in the UIL competition field and among others.
