Winfield Township School District

The Winfield Township School District is a community public school district that serves approximately 120 students in Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade from Winfield Township, in Union County, New Jersey, United States.
Public school students in grades 9-12 now attend David Brearley High School in Kenilworth, as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Kenilworth Public Schools.[1] Students in 9-12 may also attend the schools of the Union County Vocational Technical Schools in Scotch Plains. Before the current sending relationship had been established with Brearley, students used to attend Rahway High School.[citation needed]

- Winfield School serves students in PreK - 8th grade. The school offers a class for students with special needs. The school had 124 students as of the 2005-06 school year.[2]
The Winfield School fields both boys and girls sports teams. Sports offered include soccer, basketball, street hockey (sponsored by the New Jersey Devils), and baseball / softball. In 2006, the boys basketball team was undefeated. In 2007, both the girls and boys basketball teams were undefeated,the first time in Winfield history both teams were undefeated in the same year.
